Financial Policy
Financial Planning For Your Care
How Many Treatments Are Needed?

In this system of medicine each treatment builds on the previous one. Achieving significant healing requires a commitment on your part. Optimal results are achieved when a patient follows the suggested treatment plan. Patients will usually begin to see positive changes within the first few treatments. Most conditions require 10-20 sessions, although some respond in as few as 4-6 visits. Other situations may require a longer series depending upon the chronic nature of the complaint. We also encourage follow-up care to prevent the symptoms from recurring. Tiffany will discuss the best treatment plan with you.

Our Fee Structure

We know that everyone's situation is unique. That is why we offer a sliding-scale. Keep in mind that your treatment may require 2 sessions per week for the first few weeks, followed by weekly sessions for up to a couple of months. It is very important to us that you feel better, and see improvement, therefore if paying less per treatment makes it possible for you to finish a treatment series, please ask Tiffany about the sliding scale fee structure.

Acupuncture Treatment (non-billed, or "time of service" rates):
$110.00 first office visit, $75.00 return office visit, packages available for further discount

•  Accepted forms of payment are Cash, Checks, Visa, MasterCard and Insurance

•  There is a 30% discount from billed rates for prompt payment at the time of service (discounted "time of service" rates are listed above). Patients on a limited income may also wish to inquire about sliding scale fees. We also offer prepaid discounts for a treatment series.

•  We can submit insurance claims for you if your plan has out-of-network benefits or we are contracted with your plan, however, insurance is a contract between you and your insurance company. You are ultimately financially responsible for any balance due our office.

•  We are currently contracted with First Choice Health Network, Premera, Lifewise, Cigna and Uniform. For all other health plans we are considered out-of-network providers and claims are processed accordingly. Many plans have an "out of network" coverage amount. Call your provider to inquire or call us with any questions that you may have.

•  Any balance remaining after your insurance has processed claims willbe billed to you. Claims not processed within 5 months will also be billed to you. If late claims are eventually paid, any overpayments will be promptly refunded.

•  We bill for all medically necessary services including infrared heattherapy and manual therapy. Some insurance plans may process these services under your physical therapy or other benefits and/or may pass some charges on to you for non-covered services. You may decline these modalities at any time. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

•  A $50 fee is charged for missed appointments and cancellations with less than
   24 hours notice.

Our Fees:
Billed rates vary depending upon time & complexity. Our current fee schedule is available upon request. A discount is offered for payment in full at the time of service. Many patients with out of network benefits prefer to pay the discount rates and then submit their own insurance claims for reimbursement.

Testimonials
"What an incredible healer you are! My back is not perfect, but it is 85% better (after one treatment)! It would usually take 3 visits to the chiropractor to get to this point. You do amazing work - THANKS!"
– Deborah

"As an avid cyclist, my consistent knee pain was putting a real damper on my riding. After only one appointment with Tiffany I saw immediate improvement and within three visits my knee pain was gone entirely! Tiffany's careful review and analysis combined with her warm and caring approach is truly a winning formula that produces results!"
– Darren

"I can scarcely believe it but my headache was gone by this morning. That is after three weeks of coping with it. I am such an acupuncture groupie! It seems that I get better results from your efforts than any Western medicine treatments.

Thank you so very much. I am extremely relieved.

Tons of hugs,

Judy"

"Tiffany's warm and caring spirit shines through in her acupuncture/massage therapy. I first went to her after I became pregnant and she helped me with many different issues that arose due to the pregnancy, including severe swelling. I especially appreciated her thoroughness and willingness to research issues I had that were unusual and to help me to feel better in all aspects of my pregnancy and post-pregnancy (including milk production issues). Thanks for all your treatments, Tiffany!

Athena"

"Dear Tiffany,

I'm so pleased to have connected with you as I continue to expand my capacity for enjoying life. I've always been afraid to explore the benefits of acupuncture because I'm afraid of needles‹I don't like getting shots. Your gentle approach has led me to feel safe and receive the benefits of Acupuncture treatments.

As I strive to find new ways for enjoying life more fully, it is easy to fall into old ways. I want to thank you for the comfort and guidance you've shared to help me along. It is a very pleasurable experience to be addressed via sound, scent, touch, and even NEEDLE! I know the infusion of these new experiences‹your wisdom and compassion‹will assist me in creating a new way to process uncomfortable encounters.

What a gift you have to offer, and I'm pleased to accept.

In Gratitude,

Julie"

"What do you get when you cross a 51 year old golfer (with a 20 year old L4/L5 laminectomy/fusion) with a gifted accupuncturist/massage practitioner? RELIEF from years of chronic pain and discomfort, more yardage and a few strokes off my golf game! I feel renewed!

P.S. Yesterday I shot the lowest round of golf in the last 30 years! My rotation has improved so much that I am now "following thru" on my swing (completing it vs. punching at the ball) and hitting the ball with much more power and accuracy. I'm so pleased I could cry.

I've also noticed I am walking very "tall". No wonder...I measured myself and I'm an inch taller following treatments...bet you never heard that one before.

I creamed the guy I was playing golf with and he asked me what changed. I told him I'd been Tiffinized."

– Jeff

"Hello, I just want to say to all of you considering Synergy Wellness Center that for me it has been a life changing experience. When I first arrived I was at rock bottom, having just survived one of my all time worst bouts of by-weekly suicidal depression. I had been diagnosed by my many psychiatrists and Medical Doctors to have: Premenstrual Disphoric Disorder, Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome, a Personality Disorder, Clinical Depression, Irritable Bowl Syndrome, and to be basically a neurotic mess before both menstruation and ovulation. I had tried seven different anti-depressants as well as a myriad of hormone based pills to try to bring my condition under control, none of which worked. I had even consulted with two different Doctors to have a hysterectomy. During my first visit with Tiffany K. Pollard we discussed my diet and all my problems. The acupuncture was really powerful. I felt instantly a little better; I also felt supported. I left with a plan for improved health, and received weekly emails from Tiffany asking how I was. With each visit I felt better and am now in my second month without depression. I am off anti-depressants off gluten and my energy level is slowly increasing. I feel as if my health is returning and I have control over my life again. I no longer have to deal with nasty drug side affects or indigestion from my gluten intolerance which was also affecting my mood. Tiffany also addressed my mental state by suggesting the work of Byron Katie which has also been very powerful for me. I can't say enough how pleased I am to have my life back and how grateful I am to Tiffany and Synergy Wellness.

Sincerely,

Eleanor"

"I've been in Tiffany's care for therapeutic massage and, more recently, acupuncture, for several years. Tiffany is a master of her art and exudes confidence and peaceful energy. Her attention and thoughtfulness are always an inspiration and a relief. The new offices in Bellevue are in a quiet grove of mature trees, away from the street. It's a very peaceful setting."
– Ira

"A few months ago I made the decision to visit Tiffany K. Pollard at the Synergy Wellness Center because my upper back, neck and shoulders gave me so much pain that I couldn't sleep or work effectively. I made the appointment with some trepidation, as I had had a terrible experience with an acupuncturist in Southern California several years ago. However, I was tired of popping pain pills endlessly, and the pain pills no longer gave me any relief.

Tiffany examined me, and told me that she believed that she could help me, and that I would see significant improvement in eight to ten visits. I didn't believe her! In truth I have had 16 sessions, but the last six have been for maintenance only. I am truly amazed at the results.

Tiffany is engaging and warm, and genuinely concerned about her patients. She helped me examine my lifestyle, and guided me to make changes that have gone far beyond simply treating me for chronic muscle spasms. I feel healthier, have more energy and am nearly pain free thanks to her.

I am pleased to give Tiffany my highest recommendation."

– Jim
